I have got a question to answer and it is, would you want your future to be decided by others? Why or Why not?
Can you imagine being a 12 year old and being told that you will become a doctor for the rest of your life! I would hate to be told this and have the rest of my life determined by others. I would want to choose my own future because I want to live my own life not the way someone else wants me to live. You should have the freedom to be what you want to be. There are some good things about having your future decided for you and that is that everything is planned for you. For example you wouldn’t need to chose your school, what type of doctor you will be, where your school finances will come from and where you will work. Having a planned future gives you very few choices and I would not feel good about that. Having to make your own decisions and working hard for your self will give great satisfaction.

Lois Lowry
Lois Lowry was born Lois Ann Hammersberg in Hawaii march 20 1937, then moved to New York then to Pennsylvania, and from there went to Tokyo and lived in a gated American community. She is a famous writer who writes many great children books such as The Giver that won the Newbery medal. Her idea for her bestselling book The Giver was from a river of memories from her childhood where it was safe, familiar and comfortable. Her ideas for most of her other books are from her imagination. She now lives as a grandmother with her very shaggy Tibetan Terrier.

Will is running in the forest as fast as he can and suddenly the great tentacle grabs him. All he can see is darkness. Just then a cap fly’s toward's him. “Ahh!!” Will wakes up from his scary dream. This is one of the many trials I think will happen in the tripod trilogy. I think that in the next book the author will plan for a battle of the tripods and mankind. Also, I think that Henry Beanpole and Will might have to go back to England and find other brave kids to travel to the White Mountains and be free of the tripods rule. After that, they might even find the tripods are attacking the White Mountains then they will have to fight them off to save the others. But whatever happens I think it will be an exciting book.
My opinion of the book is that the writer had put an action thing into a boring subject. It needed more action and adventure. I did not like the book as much as the other I have read such as Maroo and Mafatu.

freedom
Freedom is important in life and without freedom we would have no rights to think what we want and be controlled to what others want us to do and act. In the chapter Will comes to the red tower and has to chose to stay in the red tower and be capped there or catch up on his mission to the white mountains.
Will finds it difficult to understand that that Eloise and others in the castle look forward to being capped as it is what makes them a knight or a princess. They are happy to be controlled as they have not seen the difference between a person who has the gift of freedom and being controlled by the tripods. I think that the author wrote this chapter to let the readers understand how important freedom is and to let them know that some people don’t have the gift of freedom.

Over the last decade I had many great memories but in this post I am going to talk about my winter brake. Over the winter break I did one main thing with was going to pangkor.
First I will talk about going to pangkor with my friend. We started our journey to pangkor by car. It was a long car ride I sat in the back wile my sister and my friend in the middle seats and my parents in the front. My mom was driving and my dad kinda sat back and looked out the window. My sister might have got more space but I had one secret weapon, I had brought pillows and blankets and stuffed them in the back with me so I had extra comfort. With all of that coshing I fell into a deep long sleep. When I woke up we were at the fairy we got out and bought our tickets and went on the boat.
When we got off the boat we were at the hotel. We went to our room well two rooms one for the guys and one for the girls. Then we went to the beach it was fun. At the beach we played and swam. Then we went to the pool bar and ate I had a Burger. Then we went back to the room. Then we noticed that everybody was sunburned. It was funny.
When It was time to go home we got packed. for me it was hard to pack because i had a small backpack but i managed. so when we left the room we checked out of the hotel and walked to the fairy. after that boat ride we got off and walked to the car. it was a longer ride home than the one it took to get there or so it seamed. when we got to KL it was a short time to the house. but the time flew and we were there in like 1 second. when i got out i took all the bags and went home. that was a fun winter vacation.

When I started the ms break dance we had to do a performance for an Assembly. durring the time between the start and the proforemance i had learned manny skill such as the basics of bboy (break dance) the sixstep with is a basic toprock were u do 6 steps to do a 360 and a baby freeze with is a basic freeze. and even some advanced moves such as the cricket a hopping move were u spin wile hopping on your hand and a hard combo that includes a hedstand to handstand. We might have practiced for many lesions but some moves were unclear and hard for me to get. I overcame many challenges such as staying on beat and flow between moves. After a wile I learned the moves and I was ready but some of the others were not ready just yet. But I was patent and reasoned critically to help them understand the routine.
Many of us in iskl may not understand that our environment is changing like many animals are decreasing and the forest and rainforest's are being cut down. I think that we should care for the interment and so should I. I know that we could still do more the save the planet. And one of my new years resolutions is it do more to save the planet and endangered animals.
Another goal is to do better in school and outside in school. I know I could get better grades and work harder than I do now.I plan to ask the teacher to check over my work or Mr. Grigor.
